Who We Are
- Our purpose at Fellowship Presbyterian Church is to be salt and light as a part of the body of Christ in the Greenville/Taylors/Greer Community. We strive to do this by ministering the gospel to the lost and equipping the saints to use all of their gifts in service to Christ Jesus, according to the whole counsel of God’s Word.
- We joyfully embrace the historic theology of the Reformed tradition as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith; however, we strive to not be critical or exclusive in the way we hold those convictions. The congregation at Fellowship is comprised of members who have come to Christ from a host of spiritual backgrounds and denominational traditions.
- We are a small but growing congregation, desiring to see the Lord grow Fellowship as He would please, but also contributing members toward “core groups” in healthy church plants throughout the Greenville and Upstate area.
- Fellowship began as a small church plant of Second Presbyterian Church in 1981 and merged with another small congregation, Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, in the 1990s. A handful of those charter members remain and serve actively at Fellowship; however, the Lord has brought the vast majority of the congregation in the last decade.
