Leadership & Staff

Pastor Marty Martin grew up in a non-Christian home, but came to faith in Christ as a teenager. Upon graduating from Clemson University with a BS in Computer Engineering, Marty worked in that field for several years while being spiritually nourished in the local church. During that time, it became increasingly clear that he was being called into pastoral ministry; so in 1991 he began studies at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis where he completed a Masters of Divinity in 1995. Marty initially served a small rural congregation for four years before being called to Fellowship Presbyterian in 2000. Marty and his wife Celanie have four children.

Pastor Newman serves as our Assistant Pastor. He attended North Carolina State University for his undergraduate studies. While in college, the Lord showed Andrew his rebellious heart and his deep need for a savior and brought him to Himself. Soon after becoming a Christian, Andrew got involved with Reformed University Fellowship, the PCA’s college ministry, at NC State. It was through RUF that Andrew first had a sense of God’s call to ministry. Upon graduation, Andrew accepted a two year internship with RUF at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. He then went on to seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary – Charlotte and graduated in 2016. After graduation, he served as the RUF campus minister at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL for five years. Andrew and his wife, Meghan have three children.
